Overview
Freelance feature work on the Django/Wagtail CMS behind cashmatters.org, an existing codebase maintained by another developer. Over a few days in December 2025 Hamza delivered an Author model with profile pages, a site-wide search overlay, the Support page's downloadable asset library, the About page and news category filtering.

Highlights
- Replaced plain-text post authors with an Author model, profile pages and dashboard management, including a data migration.
- Site-wide search overlay (event-delegated JS) across all main templates; live on the site.
- Support page asset library (logos, banners, fact cards, postcards, embedded videos) and the About page.
- News category filtering, and author-page query optimization with select_related/only() to stop timeouts.
